the breakfast was acceptable , it offered a sufficient variety of hot items from a menu.
i had to change rooms because the first one did not match the reservation photos , there were no outlets next to the bed , and the surfaces were not clean. the wifi signal was nearly nonexistent in the first room i was assigned.

I stayed for five nights and found the location beneficial for exploring Northumberland. The hotel was very clean (i noticed daily housekeeping) and the staff proved caring. The food quality was good (i enjoyed the breakfast options). Parking was somewhat limited, but there was paid parking available across the road from the hotel.
My room got quite warm. Air conditioning would have been helpful.

The room had ample space. The bed was comfortable and clean. Free parking behind the hotel was very convenient. Tesco is next door to the hotel too.
My room faced the street and I did notice some street noise during the night. Light sleepers may want to request a room away from the road.

the bed was very large and quite comfortable. the room itself was a good size for my needs. both the room and the bathroom were clean, and fresh towels were provided each day.
The room could have benefited from air conditioning, as it was very warm. staffing at breakfast seemed stretched. I noticed only one staff member serving and taking orders. this may have resulted in an item missing from my breakfast plate, as the staff member was very busy.
